Job summary

Muller UK & Ireland is seeking a Milk Intake Operative Level 2 to join our Dairy Operations team at Bellshill. You will oversee safe intake, testing and processing of raw milk while upholding quality and food safety standards.

The role involves operating intake and export processes, performing lab tests, and maintaining accurate documentation in a fast-paced dairy environment. Excellent attention to detail and teamwork are essential.

Do you have experience working in a food manufacturing, dairy, laboratory or production environment?

Join our Dairy Operations team as a Milk Intake Operative Level 2, where you'll play a critical role in ensuring the safe receipt, testing and processing of raw milk while maintaining the highest standards of quality, food safety and operational excellence.

Contract: Full Time / Permanent
Salary: 13.17 per hour
Shift: 5 days over 7, Dayshift/Backshift/ Nightshift
Title & Location: Milk Intake Operative Level 2 – 2 Noremac Way, Bellshill Industrial Estate, Bellshill, ML4 3NY

What will you be doing?

Working as part of the Dairy Operations team, you will be responsible for the safe and efficient intake and processing of raw milk while supporting operational performance across the site.

• Operate and monitor the raw milk intake, cream export, reclaim area and chemical offload processes.
• Carry out laboratory testing, analyse results and accurately record and report findings.
• Fully operate and monitor the SCADA system to support processing operations.
• Sample FMTs and support quality assurance activities.
• Export bulk cream to tankers in line with site procedures.
• Support the offloading of raw milk tankers and chemical deliveries.
• Assist with tanker logistics and support the tanker CIP station.
• Replenish processing chemicals and ensure stocks are maintained.
• Maintain excellent standards of hygiene and housekeeping within processing areas.
• Ensure all quality control procedures and food safety standards are followed.
• Accurately complete all production, quality and compliance documentation.

• Basic Food Hygiene qualification.

• Ability to accurately record data and complete documentation.
• Strong communication and team-working skills.
• Ability to follow procedures and work to strict food safety and quality standards.
• Previous experience operating process control systems such as SCADA would be desirable.
