Job Title: Military Claims Litigator

Salary: £30,000 to £55,000

Location: Castleford (hybrid working or remote working considered)

Contract: Full Time, Permanent

Role Overview & Daily Responsibilities:
  • Manage a varied caseload of military personal injury and industrial disease claims (e.g. noise-induced hearing loss, PTSD, non‑freezing cold injury, asbestos exposure).
  • Conduct legal research, draft pleadings, witness statements, and correspondence.
  • Liaise with medical experts, counsel, and other stakeholders to build strong evidential cases.
  • Represent clients in negotiations, settlement discussions, and at court where appropriate.
  • Maintain accurate case management records in line with compliance and regulatory standards.
  • Keep up to date with developments in personal injury, military law, and relevant statutory frameworks (e.g. Armed Forces Compensation Scheme, Crown Immunity principles).
