Job summary

Qualifications

• Proven experience as a Welder / Fabricator in heavy engineering or plant manufacturing.
• Strong MIG welding ability with mild steel.
• Able to read technical drawings and work independently.
• Detail-oriented with pride in quality work.
• Team-focused with good communication and safety awareness.

Responsibilities

• Carry out MIG welding on mild steel components (8mm–20mm).
• Fabricate steel structures using grinders, drills and saws.
• Read and interpret engineering drawings and specs.
• Assemble, weld and finish fabricated components to a high standard.
• Perform quality checks and rework as required.
• Collaborate with engineers and production teams to solve fabrication challenges.
• Maintain a clean, health and safety-compliant workshop.
