Job summary

Bennett and Game Recruitment LTD are seeking an experienced MIG Welder/Fabricator for a permanent, site-based role in the Dinnington area near Sheffield. You will perform MIG welding, fabrication, bending and jigging on plate material from 2mm to 20mm thick, working as part of a small hands-on team.

The role offers a 36-hour week with overtime paid at 1.42x; Monday to Thursday 7h15 per day, Friday 7h. A traditional, practical welding approach is essential.

Qualifications

• Proven experience as a Welder / Fabricator.
• Strong MIG welding experience.
• Experience working with plate from approximately 2mm to 20mm thick.
• Previous experience with fabrication, bending and jigging.
• Hands-on approach to fabrication work.

Responsibilities

• MIG welding and fabrication of metal components.
• Working with plate materials ranging from approximately 2mm to 20mm thick.
• Fabricating and bending components to specification.
• Jigging and assembling components prior to welding.
• Working as part of a small, hands-on fabrication team.
• Maintaining a high standard of workmanship and finished quality.
