Job summary

Winner Recruitment Ltd in Sheffield is seeking an experienced Fabricator/Welder to join the workshop team. You will perform MIG welding, fabricate components and frames from engineering drawings, and assemble machinery and parts for recycling equipment manufactured in-house.

The role requires reading drawings, using fabrication tools, and maintaining high quality workmanship in a busy production environment.

Qualifications

• Experience in fabrication or welding in a workshop environment.
• Ability to read engineering drawings and interpret measurements.
• Proficient with MIG welding and general fabrication tasks.

Responsibilities

• MIG welding and general fabrication.
• Fabricating components and frames from drawings.
• Fitting and assembling machinery and components.
• Working with mild steel and other materials.
• Reading and working from engineering drawings.
• Measuring, cutting and preparing materials.
• Using workshop machinery and hand tools.
• Carrying out quality checks on completed work.
• Maintaining a clean and safe workshop, supporting production.
