Job summary

Bennett and Game Recruitment LTD is seeking a Welding Technician in Bedford for a high-end production welding role. You will fabricate assemblies to a high standard and prepare them for painting, working to tight quality requirements.

The position requires experience with TIG and MIG welding on mild steel, aluminium and stainless steel, and the ability to read technical drawings. Evening shift is 15:00–01:00, with 25 days of leave and a company pension scheme.

Qualifications

• Experience with TIG/MIG welding on mild steel, aluminium and stainless steel.
• Ability to interpret technical drawings.
• Identify defects and document accordingly.
• Adhere to quality standards and safety procedures.
• Proficient with common hand tools (grinders, calipers, squares).

Responsibilities

• Weld assemblies to a high standard using TIG & MIG equipment.
• Follow drawings to produce weld assemblies.
• Prepare products for painting, ensuring surfaces are clean and scratch-free.
• Maintain stock of welding supplies.
• Maintain a clean and safe working environment.
