Job summary

Bennett & Game Recruitment Ltd. is seeking a skilled Welder/Pipefitter in Ledbury to join a multi-disciplinary engineering team. You will perform MIG and TIG welding, pipefitting and fabrication, reading drawings, and delivering quality components to spec.

This site-based permanent role offers a competitive salary (£28,800–£43,200) and regular hours; the successful candidate will work within an established engineering company across a range of projects in a collaborative environment.

Qualifications

• Experience as Welder/Pipefitter or in a similar engineering role.
• Strong MIG and TIG welding skills.
• Experience with pipefitting and fabrication.
• Ability to read and interpret engineering drawings.
• Good attention to detail and commitment to producing quality work.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Relevant welding/fabrication qualifications would be advantageous.

Responsibilities

• Carry out MIG and TIG welding on a range of engineering and fabrication projects.
• Undertake pipefitting and associated fabrication work.
• Read and work from engineering drawings and specifications.
• Prepare, fit and weld components and pipework to the required standards.
• Ensure completed work meets the required quality and specification.
• Work safely and maintain a clean and organised working environment.
• Work as part of an engineering team to complete projects to the required timescales.
