Bennett and Game Recruitment are seeking a Junior Welder / Fabricator for a site-based role in Talaton, Exeter. You will perform MIG and TIG welding, prepare tube sections and support fabrication using workshop machinery.

The ideal candidate has experience in metal fabrication, good practical aptitude, and a willingness to learn. Salary is £14–£16 per hour, with 7:00–15:30 hours, and a pension scheme.

Competenze

• Experience with MIG welding and TIG welding in metal fabrication.
• Practical ability in fabricating components in a workshop environment.
• Experience using workshop machinery, including CNC bending equipment (advantage).
• Ability to cut and deburr tube sections accurately.
• Good practical and mechanical aptitude; junior applicants considered.

Mansioni

• Carry out MIG and TIG welding on fabricated metal components.
• Cut and deburr tube sections to required specifications.
• Operate a CNC bending machine as part of fabrication process.
• Work with N plates and other fabricated components.
• Read and follow basic technical information and measurements.
• Maintain high workmanship standards and ensure accuracy.
• Work safely and keep workshop clean and organized.
