Zusammenfassung

Thurston Group requires an experienced MIG Welder/Fabricator to join a busy manufacturing site producing structural steel frames and modular components used in off-site construction.

You will weld, fabricate and assemble steel frames and chassis, interpret drawings and ensure quality through inspection of welds and assemblies while maintaining safety and production schedules.

Qualifikationen

• Previous experience as a MIG Welder/Fabricator.
• Strong experience working with mild and structural steel.
• Ability to read and work independently from engineering drawings.
• Experience fabricating steel frames and assemblies.
• Good understanding of welding and fabrication techniques.
• Ability to work accurately in a workshop environment.

TK Recruitment is currently recruiting experienced MIG Welder/Fabricators on behalf of Thurston Group, an established manufacturer specialising in modular buildings and off-site construction.

Key Responsibilities

Essential Requirements

• Previous experience as a MIG Welder/Fabricator.

Desirable Experience

• Previous experience in structural steel fabrication.
• Experience manufacturing modular buildings, steel chassis or similar structures.
• NVQ Level 2/3 or equivalent in Welding and Fabrication.
• Overhead crane or forklift experience.

Salary & Benefits

• £15.00-£16.50 per hour, depending on experience.
• Full-time working hours.
