Job summary

Freeway Recruitment is seeking an experienced MIG Welder for ongoing agency work across Greater Manchester. The role runs Monday to Friday, 7:00am–4:30pm, with overtime opportunities and immediate starts.

You will weld mild and structural steel from drawings, maintaining high quality and adhering to safety procedures while supporting ongoing production for trusted manufacturers.

Qualifications

• Previous MIG welding experience.
• Ability to read and interpret engineering drawings.
• Experience with fabrication and assembly work.

Responsibilities

• MIG welding mild steel and structural steel components.
• Fabricating products from engineering drawings.
• Operating workshop machinery and hand tools safely.

• Inspecting finished work to ensure quality standards are met.
• Working to production schedules and deadlines.
• Maintaining a clean and safe working environment.

About the Role

Freeway Recruitment is recruiting experienced MIG Welders on behalf of a number of well-established engineering and manufacturing clients across Greater Manchester.

You'll be producing high-quality fabrications using MIG welding techniques, working from engineering drawings and ensuring all work meets company quality standards.
