Job summary

Supreme Recruitment are recruiting for several experienced MIG Welders to join a busy manufacturing site near Stratford. The role is full-time, temp to perm, with pay of £14.00–£14.50 per hour and shift hours from 08:00 to 17:00 (Mon-Thu) and 08:00 to 13:00 (Fri).

Role involves MIG welding of mild steel, reading engineering drawings, fabricating and assembling metal products, and maintaining high quality standards. Own transport is required due to rural location and limited public transport.

Qualifications

• MIG welding experience is essential.
• TIG welding experience would be advantageous.
• Able to work independently and as part of a team.
• Good attention to detail and reliable/ punctual.

Responsibilities

• MIG weld mild steel components.
• Read and work from engineering drawings.
• Fabricate and assemble metal products.
• Quality check completed work.
• Maintain a clean and safe working environment.
• Work with mild steel 2mm–10mm thick.

The Role - Mig Welder (WE NEED 3 WELDERS!!)

Supreme Recruitment are currently recruiting on behalf of a highly successful business for several experienced MIG Welders to join a busy and growing manufacturing company based in Atherstone on Stour near Stratford. This is a full-time ongoing position with the opportunity to secure a permanent contract following a successful temporary period.

Shift hours:
08:00 - 17:00 Monday to Thursday
08:00 - 13:00 Friday

Pay rate: £14:00-£14.50p/h

Duties - Mig Welder

• MIG welding mild steel components
• Reading and working from engineering drawings
• Fabricating and assembling metal products
• Quality checking completed work
• Maintaining a clean and safe working environment
• Working Mild steel 2mm – 10mm thick

Candidate Requirements - Mig Welders

• Previous MIG welding experience essential
• Previous TIG welding experience would be an advantage
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team
• Good attention to detail
• Reliable and punctual attitude
• Own transport required due to rural location and limited public transport links
