About the role:

You will be using your all-round strategy skills to focus on brand, creative and comms strategy for enterprise-level B2B clients predominantly in pharma, tech, SaaS and financial services. This role focuses on the full strategy lifecycle: from helping to define and build great brands, to creating high performing communication plans across digital channels, through to overseeing activation and post-campaign analyses.

Core responsibilities

  • Produce sharp brand/creative content/comms briefs that distil key messages to aid creative development and end user understanding
  • A strong focus on the customer – immersing yourself in their world, respecting their individual nuances and understanding their constraints.
  • Create communication campaign plans, spanning owned, paid and earned channels; with consideration to strategies that engage a diverse audience.
  • Planning and executing marketing programmes across the customer life cycle (awareness to advocacy) that include different types of campaigns (brand building, brand engagement and sales activation).
  • Partner closely with The Croc’s creative media and data teams to ensure robust strategic thinking and analysis runs through every element of agency output.

Skills and experience

  • Ideally a minimum of five years successfully developing and implementing brand, creative and comms strategy in an advertising or marketing agency setting
  • Happy to write creative briefs, brief teams and deliver the presentation of creative ideas.
  • Working knowledge of best practices and formats encompassingowned, paid, and earned channels
  • Experience working on a range of brands, pharma experience is especially welcome. Ideally someone who has been responsible for planning of communications campaigns across a range of channels.
  • Ability to use digital/social tools and various online resources to produce inspiring research and insights.
  • Resourceful problem solver with creative flair.
  • Good analytical and presentation skills
  • Able to work under pressure and to tight deadlines.
