Berkmann Wine Cellars, the UK's largest family-owned wine importer, is seeking a Regional Sales Manager to lead our Independent On-Trade sales team across the Midlands. You will coach Sales Account Managers, build a strong pipeline with premium restaurants and hotels, and drive sustainable growth while representing world-class wines.
Based in the Midlands, you will partner with the Head of Sales to shape regional strategy, manage budgets, and champion our agency wine portfolio.
Qualifications
- Strong sales leadership experience, capable of coaching a team.
- Solid knowledge of the Midlands on-trade market.
- Track record in budgets, profitability and growth.
- Experience developing new business and relationships.
- Excellent negotiation and relationship-building skills.
- Analytical approach to sales planning and pipeline management.
Responsabilités
- Lead and coach a team of Sales Account Managers to KPI targets.
- Drive profitable growth and secure new business opportunities.
- Win new business with premium restaurants, hotels, gastro pubs.
- Be out in trade, building lasting partnerships.
- Shape regional strategy with Head of Sales.
- Champion the wine portfolio across Independent On & Off Trade.
- Collaborate with marketing, finance and operations.
