Job summary

RAM Engineering & Tooling Ltd is seeking a Regional Sales Manager for the Midlands to develop and manage the Midlands territory, focusing on machine-tool opportunities and building long-term customer relationships.

The role involves understanding customer applications, guiding them from initial enquiry through quotation to order, and collaborating with our applications team to deliver technically sound solutions and strong after-sales support.

Qualifications

• Machine-tool sales experience advantageous.
• Background in CNC machinery, cutting tools, workholding, applications, or manufacturing technology.

Responsibilities

• Developing new machinery and manufacturing technology opportunities across the Midlands
• Building relationships with engineering and manufacturing companies
• Understanding customer applications before recommending a solution
• Managing opportunities from initial enquiry through quotation and order
• Working alongside our applications team on more technically involved projects
• Identifying opportunities for tooling, workholding, monitoring and other complementary technologies
• Developing relationships that continue well beyond the initial machine sale
• Representing RAM and our manufacturing partners professionally throughout the territory
