Job summary

Equans UK & Ireland is seeking a Mobile Combustion Engineer to join our Midlands team on a permanent basis. The role covers Birmingham and Stoke-on-Trent and surrounding areas, with a 40-hour week and a company vehicle included.

You will service and maintain commercial boilers and gas appliances across multiple sites, complete PPM and breakdown work, keep CAFM records up to date and support on-call duties as required. A recognised gas safety qualification is essential.

Qualifications

• A recognised industry qualification is required and prior experience is essential.
• CCN1 Core Domestic Gas Safety (domestic work).
• COCN1 Core Commercial Gas Safety (commercial work).
• CPA1 Combustion Performance Analysis.
• Domestic (Natural Gas): CENWAT.
• Commercial/Industrial: CODNCO1 (domestic to commercial switch).
• CIGA1/CDGA1 and ICPN1 pipework certifications.
• BMP1 Gas boosters Medium pressure.
• CCP1 Commission of commercial plant.
• CDGA1 Commission and service of direct-fired heaters.
• C&G Level 3 Plumbing.

Responsibilities

• Maintain boilers and gas equipment across sites within the Midlands.
• Cover sites in Birmingham, Stoke-on-Trent and surrounding areas.
• Complete PPM, reactive and breakdown paperwork promptly.
• Complete supplementary documentation / E-forms as directed.
• Update CAFM system with times and full work details.
• Record plant failures in CAFM and advise on follow-on works.
• Participate in the on-call rota.
