Job summary

WR Engineering is seeking a Business Development Manager to drive growth across the Midlands region, selling cable management, protection, identification and connectivity solutions to OEMs, electrical contractors, distributors and industrial end users.

You will balance new business with expanding existing accounts, maintain strong relationships, and collaborate with technical and commercial teams to win opportunities and deliver profitable growth.

Qualifications

• Proven Business Development experience essential.
• Strong background in an electrical environment preferred.
• Experience selling technical products into OEM/industrial markets.

Responsibilities

• Develop and execute a Midlands business development strategy.
• Generate new business and network proactively.
• Manage and grow an existing customer portfolio.
• Maintain a 70% new business / 30% existing business focus.
• Target OEMs, distributors, wholesalers, contractors and end users.
• Build relationships with technical and commercial decision-makers.
