Constellation Careers is seeking a Sous Chef to join our busy kitchen network, delivering culinary excellence across multiple Compass venues in the UK. You will work on contract catering shifts, with training provided to accelerate your career and the chance to play a key role in maintaining Levy standards.

Based in our bustling kitchen, you will prepare high-quality dishes, ensure ingredient availability, and support coaching of new team members while upholding hygiene and safety standards.

Qualifications

• Relevant catering qualifications and Level 3 Food Hygiene.
• Allergen awareness and safety footwear required.
• Willingness to coach new team members.

Working Hours

Constellation optimises the working schedules of Compass employees, so we can also help you work at over 5,000 venues across the UK on shifts that suit you.

Contract Catering hours 7-3 Mon-Fri you will need all the Relevant Catering Qualifications, Level 3 Food Hygiene Allergen Awareness, Own Whites & Safety shoes and a Can do Attitude. All of our Sites require staff to serve on the Counter & Assist in Washing up.

Main Responsibilities

Based in a busy kitchen, your main tasks will be to:

• Prepare delicious food to menu specifications, ensuring that Levy standards and procedures are followed.
• Ensure all ingredients are available for the entire menu matrix.
• Take pride in your business and share agreed standards with your team.
• Assist with new team members by giving respectful and encouraging coaching as needed.

Skills / Qualifications

We are looking for Sous Chef's with exceptional standards of hygiene and cleanliness who inspire those around them to be passionate about food.

Excellent communication and remaining calm under pressure will be key to ensuring smooth delivery.
