Job summary

The Good Shepherd Catholic Primary, Arnold in Nottingham is seeking a caring Midday Supervisor to ensure a safe and happy lunchtime for pupils in the dining room and playground.

This permanent, term-time role involves 7.08 hours per week with a salary of £4,092 per annum (OLOL Band 1; Scale Point 3). You will work with a supportive team and contribute to a positive lunchtime experience for children.

Qualifications

About the role

As a Midday Supervisor, you'll play a key role in the children's lunchtime experience by:

• Supporting and promoting good behaviour and positive interactions.
• Being a role model and setting a positive example for the children.
• Supervising children in the dining room, helping to serve meals, and ensuring lunchtime runs smoothly.
• Overseeing playtime activities, whether in the playground or indoors on rainy days, and encouraging fun, healthy, and active play.

Working hours:

• 7.08 hours per week, term-time only.
• You will lead playtime games and encourage a healthy lifestyle.
