Callerton Academy in Newcastle upon Tyne is seeking 4 Midday Supervisors to join the team. You will help create a safe, positive lunchtime environment for pupils, supervise activities on the school site and support wellbeing during breaks.

The role requires experience with children, the ability to build positive relationships with pupils, staff and parents, and a calm, fair approach. Part-time, permanent contract with benefits and opportunities for professional development.

We are seeking 4 Midday Supervisors to join the team at Callerton Academy. In this important role, you will help create a safe, positive and enjoyable environment for pupils during lunchtime, ensuring their wellbeing, supervising activities across the school site and supporting a calm and orderly midday break. You will work closely with colleagues to promote positive behaviour, uphold safeguarding standards and ensure pupils are supported throughout the lunchtime period.

Key responsibilities will include supervising pupils in dining and outdoor areas, supporting pupils with specific needs, maintaining accurate records of incidents where required, liaising with kitchen staff regarding dietary requirements, and ensuring pupils move safely around the school during the lunch period.
