Beechcroft St Paul's CofE Primary School in Weymouth is seeking a Midday Supervisory Assistant to oversee pupils at lunchtimes, promoting safety, wellbeing and positive behaviour during breaks.
The role is permanent, term-time only, with hours 12:00 to 13:45, Monday to Friday (8 hours 45 minutes per week). Training provided; no formal qualifications are required; experience with children is an advantage. Duties include meals support, basic cleaning and incident response.
We are seeking to appoint a Midday Supervisory Assistant to join our caring and committed school team. This is an important role supporting the safety, wellbeing and positive behaviour of our pupils during the lunchtime period.
The role is offered as a permanent contract, term time only. Your normal working hours would be 12pm to 1.45pm Monday to Friday (8 hours 45 minutes per week).
As a Midday Supervisory Assistant, you will be responsible for supervising pupils during the midday break, both in the dining hall and, at times, outdoors. You will help ensure that lunchtime is a safe, calm and happy experience for all children, promoting positive behaviour in line with the school’s policies and Christian ethos.
The role also includes supporting pupils during meals, assisting with basic cleaning and clearing duties in dining areas, and responding appropriately to minor accidents or incidents.
