Job summary

Longthorpe Primary Academy is seeking an exceptional Midday Supervisor to join our friendly team. You will help provide a safe, positive lunchtime experience, supporting pupils as they develop confidence, independence and social skills. The role is permanent, part-time (6.25 hours per week, 12:00–13:15, Monday to Friday) with term-time plus one week.

Salary is prorated according to hours and school terms. Starting annual prorated salary is £3,705 (full-time equivalent £25,615).

We’re looking for an exceptional Midday Supervisor to join our friendly and dedicated team at Longthorpe Primary Academy!

This is a fantastic opportunity for a caring, enthusiastic and committed individual to play an important role in school life and make a real difference to our pupils. You’ll help create a happy, safe and positive lunchtime experience, supporting children to develop their confidence, independence, friendships and social skills along the way.

Permanent | Part-time | Start 2nd November 2026

• Grade 3 - NJC Points 3 | Starting annual prorated £3,705 (Full time equivalent: £25,615)
• 6.25 hours per week (12:00-13:15) | Monday - Friday
• Term Time + 1 week equivalent hours, to be worked flexibly for training
