Dorset Council UK is recruiting a Midday Supervisor to join our friendly school team. You will supervise and support pupils during the lunch period, helping them follow routines and stay safe.

The role involves setting out tables and chairs, assisting with washing up and kitchen duties at the end of lunch, and helping to encourage positive play in the playground. Training is provided and no prior experience is required.

Qualifications

• Training will be provided; previous experience is not essential.

Responsabilités

• Carry out general cleaning up duties after lunch.

Description du poste

We are seeking to appoint a Midday Supervisor to join our friendly team. The role includes supervising and supporting our children during the lunchtime periods and includes lifting and setting out tables and chairs and some cleaning up duties.

You will join our existing lunchtime staff to ensure the safety and well-being of our pupils at this important time of the day. Do you have a desire to work as a member of a team, an enthusiasm for helping children with their lunchtime routine and willingness to interact with the pupils in the playground encouraging them to play? Are you able to bring energy and enthusiasm to the role and be prepared to go above and beyond, if so, we'd love to hear from you!

This role also includes duties supporting the Kitchen staff at the end of the lunch period with clearing away, washing up and general kitchen duties.

Please note that previous experience is not essential as training will be given.

This role is for 1.5 hours per day (11.45am - 1.15pm pm) Monday to Friday during term time only, some flexibility is appreciated during busy periods for example Christmas.
