Job summary

Holy Trinity C of E Infant School is seeking a dedicated Midday Supervisor/Playworker to join our lunchtime support team. You will supervise children on the school premises during the midday break, both in the dining room and around the school, and help promote positive playtime through teaching new games and rules.

The successful candidate will be a responsible, caring adult with a commitment to inclusive practice, creativity, motivation and a willingness to work within our school ethos.

Job description

The Governors wish to appoint a Midday Supervisor/ Playworker to join their current team of lunchtime support staff, who will be responsible for the supervision of children on the school premises throughout the midday break both in the dining room and around the school. They will also work with the children to promote positive playtimes by teaching them new games and rules for games, encouraging them to demonstrate to each other how to play and interact. The successful candidate will: · be a responsible and caring adult; · have a passion for including every child fully, in school life and learning; · be creative, motivated and hard working; · be committed to supporting the school vision: 'Together we grow to be the best that God created us to be'.
