Ysgol Cae'r Gwenyn is seeking a Midday Supervisory Assistant to help keep pupils safe and enjoy their lunch hour. The role offers 5 hours per week across 38 weeks per year on a temporary basis from 02/11/2026 to 31/08/2027.
You will support the safety, wellbeing and happiness of pupils during midday breaks, bringing a patient, calm manner and reliability. An Enhanced DBS is required, and bilingual Welsh/English capability is welcomed.

As a Midday Supervisory Assistant you will be supporting the safety, well-being and happiness of our children during their midday break.
We are looking for someone who has a patient and calm manner when working with children. Who is a strong team player, who is flexible and reliable and has an understanding of child safety and safeguarding principles. Experience of working with young children is desirable but not essential.
An Enhanced DBS is required for this position.

About Our School
Ysgol Cae'r Gwenyn is a Primary Special School. We are a small school for 34 full time learners, from Nursery up to Year 2. Visitors to our school regularly comment on the calm, happy and family atmosphere in school. In addition, Ysgol Cae'r Gwenyn had an Estyn Inspection in 2023 with very positive outcomes.
