Merriott Primary School is seeking a caring and reliable Midday Supervisory Assistant to support children during playtimes. The role is 4 hours per week, term time only, with a fixed-term contract until 31 August 2027. The post is based at our rural village school, reflecting the community-focused ethos and friendly staff.

You will supervise play, encourage positive interactions, and help maintain a safe and welcoming environment for all children. Closing date: 9 November 2026; interviews TBC.

MIDDAY SUPERVISORY ASSISTANT

• 4 hours per week, Term Time only (38 working weeks, excluding INSET days)
• Actual salary £2,310pa based on Grade 15 Point 3 full-time equivalent salary £25,614pa
• To start as soon as possible
• Fixed Term until 31 August 2027
