Job summary

Gippeswyk Community Educational Trust in Ipswich is seeking a dedicated Midday Supervisor to join Britannia Primary School and Nursery from September. The role is 8.75 hours per week, Monday to Friday, 11:30am–2:00pm, across 38 weeks per year, in a permanent position.

The ideal candidate will be trustworthy, efficient and able to communicate effectively with staff, parents and children, promoting positive behaviour and a safe learning environment.

Qualifications

  • DBS checks are required for relevant posts.

Responsibilities

  • Supervise pupils during lunch periods and maintain a safe, orderly environment.
  • Support pupils and staff during the afternoon session and transitions.

Salary: £5,054 per annum

Hours: 8.75 hours per week/38 hours per week, Monday to Friday (1 hour 45 minutes per day between 11.30am and 2.00pm)

We are currently looking for a Midday Supervisor to join our team from September. The role will be working 8.75 hours per week (1 Hour 45minutes per day), 5 days per week, 38 weeks per year, this is a permanent position.

We are a three-form entry primary school located in Ipswich, Suffolk, focused on providing an engaging, creative learning environment for all pupils. Our children love their school, and this is reflected in their excellent behaviour and attitudes towards learning.

Our staff are committed and hardworking, underpinned by the school’s high calibre administrative support team. The leadership team and governing body are committed to continuing the strategic development of the school towards becoming outstanding.

We are looking for someone who is:
  • Able to work anywhere between 11.30am-2.00pm with flexibility (Monday to Friday)
