Greenleas School is seeking a Midday Supervisor to join our friendly midday team. You will help children in the hall during lunch, assist younger children with knife and fork skills, and encourage social interactions among pupils.
After lunch, you will supervise the playground, support games and activities, and contribute to a restorative approach to behaviour. The role is term-time only, 8.75 hours per week, with opportunities for professional development and a welcoming, collaborative staff
An exciting opportunity to join the staff of our popular school as a Midday Supervisor.
Our Midday Team is friendly and hardworking. You will be helping the children in the hall while they are eating; supporting the youngest children in developing knife and fork skills and encouraging older children in social skills. Then you will be on the playground supporting games and activities. We are developing our outdoor play and learning to ensure our children experience rich, creative play opportunities to support their development and well-being. We are looking for staff members who will engage with the opportunities that approach will provide. In addition you will support our restorative approach to behaviour and proactively pre-empt and avert any falling out and behaviour issues.
8.75 hours per week Monday -Friday, term time only.

Successful candidates will be subject to a DBS check at the appropriate level. Shortlisted candidates will be asked to complete a self-declaration related to their criminal record or any information that would make them unsuitable to work with children. Additional checks in relation to the Childcare Disqualification Regulations will be undertaken for successful candidates.
