Job summary

Britannia Primary School and Nursery is seeking a Midday Supervisor to join our Ipswich campus. The role is a permanent, part-time position 8.75 hours per week across 38 weeks per year, with duties mainly during the 11:30am to 2:00pm lunch period.

You will help supervise pupils, promote safe and positive behaviour, and communicate with staff, parents and children to support a calm, engaging lunchtime environment.

Qualifications

  • Experience working with children or in a school or care setting preferred.
  • Ability to communicate effectively with staff, parents and pupils.
  • Reliable and punctual with a positive, friendly attitude.

Responsibilities

  • Work 11:30am–2:00pm, Monday to Friday, 38 weeks per year, with flexibility.
  • Supervise and support children during lunchtime, encouraging safe and positive behaviour.
  • Communicate clearly with school staff and parents as required.
  • Help create a welcoming and orderly lunchtime environment.
