Job summary

Horncastle Primary School is seeking conscientious and enthusiastic Midday Supervisors to join our team. The role is part-time during term time, with sessions up to 1 hour 30 minutes between 11:30 am and 1:30 pm, depending on requirements.

We aim to recruit both temporary and additional staff to our relief pool, offering excellent career development opportunities and a supportive school environment.

Qualifications

• Experience of working with primary age children, including children with additional needs.
• The ability to encourage and inspire young people
• An effective team worker, who understands a school's roles and responsibilities and their own position within these.
• Food hygiene and first aid certificates would be advantageous.

Responsibilities

• Prepare dining hall by setting out furniture, plates, cutlery etc
• Supervising and assisting children in the dining hall while eating.
• Supervising in the playground after children have finished eating.
• Recording any incidents or accidents
• Clearing away furniture and eating utensils
• Cleaning the dining hall ready for use by afternoon classes.

The main Duties
