Job summary

New Pastures Primary School is seeking 3 hardworking and flexible people to join our midday meals team to start as soon as possible. We require permanent Midday Supervisors for 2 X 6.25 hours and 1 x 5 hours per week to help and supervise children during lunchtime.

The role may be at either site as needed. Responsibilities include helping pupils with meals, supervising in the hall or corridors, monitoring outdoor playtime, and supporting pupils with dietary needs and hygiene tasks.

Qualifications

• Reliable, punctual and able to work within a team.
• Comfortable supervising groups of children during lunch period.
• Willingness to learn and follow Food Hygiene and safety guidelines.

Responsibilities

• To help pupils with their meals ensuring that all pupils receive the meals that the parents have ordered.
• To supervise the pupils either in the hall or in the corridors/toilets.
• To supervise and interact with pupils during outdoor playtime.
• To be aware of any medical/dietary needs of those pupils in your care.
• To help clean the hall during service as meals have been eaten.

We require permanent Midday Supervisors for 2 X 6.25 hours and 1 x 5 hours per week to help and supervise children during their lunchtime.

Reliability, punctuality and a commitment to teamwork are essential, as you will be joining a group of hardworking colleagues.

We are a split site school and the role may mean working at either site as needed.

To help pupils with their meals ensuring that all pupils receive the meals that the parents have ordered.

To supervise the pupils either in the hall or in the corridors/toilets.

To supervise and interact with pupils during outdoor playtime.

To be aware of any medical/dietary needs of those pupils in your care.

To help clean the hall during service as meals have been eaten.

There will also be a requirement for further training in the role - for example- Food Hygiene & Allergy e-learning courses and manual handling.
