Job summary

The Alton School in inner London is seeking two midday meals supervisors to help ensure a positive lunchtime experience for children, both in the lunch hall and during play.

You will encourage the school's healthy meals programme and provide supervision and guidance in the play areas, working as part of a wider team in a modern, well-equipped building with good transport links.

Responsibilities

• Ensure a positive lunchtime experience in the lunch hall and play areas.
• Support the healthy meals programme and promote healthy eating.
• Provide quality supervision and guidance in the play spaces.
• Be flexible to support Lunchtime across Early years, mainstream and Resource Base.

Job description

The Alton is an inclusive inner London primary school situated next to Richmond Park.

Your role as midday meals supervisor will be to ensure our children have a positive lunchtime experience both in the lunch hall and out at play. You will assist in encouraging our healthy meals programme as well as providing quality supervision and guidance in the play areas.

We are seeking to fill two positions where people can be flexible supporting at lunchtime between Early year, mainstream and in our Resource Base.

You will need:

• A great personality and good enthusiasm.
• Strong communication skills.
• To be proactive, committed, resilient and reliable.
• Be able to work as part of a wider team.
