Allestree Woodlands School is seeking a friendly, reliable Midday Supervisor to join our team. The role involves supervising students in designated indoor and outdoor lunchtime spaces, ensuring good order and that spaces are left clean and orderly.

The successful candidate will work 12.5 hours per week, Monday to Friday during 38 weeks of the school year. No prior experience is required, as full training is provided, and a positive attitude and calm demeanour are valued in our welcoming school

Qualifications

  • Friendly and positive attitude required.
  • Previous experience of working with children is desirable.
  • No prior training required – full training will be provided.

Responsibilities

  • Supervise students during lunchtime in designated indoor and outdoor spaces; ensure spaces are left clean and tidy.
  • Maintain acceptable standards of behaviour and support a calm, safe environment.

MIDDAY SUPERVISOR

Grade and Salary: Grade 1: £7,236 - £7,350 actual salary per annum pro rata (£25,614 - £26,016 FTE)

Working pattern: 12.5 hours per week / 38 working weeks

Contract term: Permanent

The role:

We are looking to appoint an enthusiastic, hard-working, and reliable Midday Supervisor to join our existing team. The role will include supervising students in designated outdoor and indoor lunchtime spaces, ensuring spaces are left clean and tidy and ensuring acceptable standards of behaviour are maintained. This role will work 12.5 hours Monday to Friday.

The person:

The successful candidate should be friendly with a positive attitude, confident and able to act calm under pressure. Previous experience of working with children is desirable and full training is provided.
