Job summary

Kingswood Primary School in Kingswood, Surrey, is seeking a Midday Meals Supervisor to join our friendly team. This temporary role covers sickness absence and runs during term time, with 1 hour per day, 5 days a week, over 38 weeks per year, onsite.

The successful candidate will bring energy, patience, and a positive, proactive approach to supporting pupils during lunchtime, while upholding safeguarding and inclusive practices within a busy school environment.

Job description

We are seeking to appoint an enthusiastic, flexible and committed Midday Meals Supervisor, to join our team in our welcoming and friendly Primary School in Kingswood, Surrey. This is a temporary role to cover a period of staff sickness and is expected to end on Friday 18 December 2026.

The successful candidate will:

• Have good interpersonal skills
• Enjoy working with children and be able to show initiative
• Be committed to providing children with high quality and enjoyable lunchtime experience
• Have high expectations, together with caring attitude and flexibility
• Know how to provide the children with a safe and secure environment
