Job summary

Greenside Primary School is seeking a caring and enthusiastic Midday Assistant to supervise and engage pupils at lunchtime across playground, classroom and dining settings. A patient, kind approach is essential; prior experience with children is desirable.

The role is 6.25 hours per week on a permanent, term-time-only basis. The salary is £3,805 actual paid, with a three-month probation and safeguarding checks in place.

Greenside Primary School are seeking to appoint a willing, enthusiastic and caring Midday Assistant to supervise, help and play with pupils during the lunchtime break in the playground, classroom and dining areas of the school.

You should have a kind, caring and patient approach to the pupils and be friendly but firm.

Previous experience of working with children is desirable
