Oldswinford CE Primary School in Dudley is seeking a Mid Day Supervisory Assistant and First Aid Officer to supervise the lunch hall and provide first aid to pupils during term time.

Job Introduction

Oldswinford Church Of England Primary School is a friendly and welcoming school with an emphasis on promoting high standards . The Governors are looking to appoint a caring individual in the Lunch Hall to ensure a clean and safe environment is maintained at all times and to provide First Aid to our pupils as necessary .

You should show a caring and sensitive attitude towards the children and have an understanding of their medical needs . Candidates must have a relevant, current Paediatric First Aid qualification or be willing to complete the training .

You should have good interpersonal skills and be able to lead by example. The hours of work are from 11.50am to 1.0 5pm Monday to Friday, during school term time. You may be required for an extra couple of days during term time for training or a termly meeting. Due notice will be given for these days.

The school is committed to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of children and expects all staff to share this. The successful candidate will therefore require an enhanced DBS check. Proof of permission to work in the UK will also be required.
