Job summary

Technology Powered Services is seeking a microwave link installer to join our Cellular Infrastructure division in the UK. You will install, align and cut over microwave links, support rigging teams on site and help ensure network performance.

We value candidates with proven experience in installing and commissioning microwave links, knowledge of link budgets and RF awareness. A full UK driving licence and willingness to travel are required; training opportunities are offered.

Qualifications

• Proven experience installing, aligning and commissioning microwave links.
• Understanding of link budgets and frequency plans.
• RF awareness and safety practices in height work.
• Full UK driving licence and willingness to travel.

Responsibilities

• Carry out line-of-sight surveys and confirm mounting positions.
• Install dishes, indoor and outdoor units and supporting hardware.
• Align links at both ends to the planned received signal level.
• Configure, commission and test links and carry out cutovers.
• Diagnose and fix link faults and perform upgrades.
• Provide support as second person on rigging builds when required.
