Job summary

Voyage Care is seeking an IT professional to manage our Modern Workplace within the Group Support team. This hybrid role is based in Lichfield, delivering a secure, efficient Microsoft 365 environment and supporting digital transformation across the organisation.

You will configure Exchange Online, SharePoint Online, Teams and Intune, drive automation, strengthen security, and collaborate with IT and business colleagues to improve user experience and productivity in a care-focused technology

Qualifications

• Experience in Microsoft 365 administration and Modern Workplace tooling.
• Experience with endpoint and device management, including Intune.
• Experience with Azure services and cloud-based solutions.
• Scripting or automation skills to improve efficiency.
• Strong understanding of security, compliance, and cloud best practice.
• Communicate technical concepts to non-technical audiences.
• Customer-focused with emphasis on user experience.
• Degree in IT/CS or related field desirable.
• Microsoft certifications such as M365 Modern Desktop/Teams/Security Associate desirable.

Responsibilities

• Configure, maintain, and optimise Microsoft 365 services (Exchange Online, SharePoint Online, Teams, OneDrive).
• Provide high-quality end-user support and resolve Modern Workplace issues.
• Support and maintain Microsoft Autopilot for device provisioning.
• Manage devices using Microsoft Endpoint Manager (Intune) and enforce policy compliance.
• Package, deploy, and maintain software with emphasis on automation.
• Support security and compliance across Microsoft 365 and Azure.
• Enhance collaboration using Teams, SharePoint, and related tools.
• Support Azure Virtual Desktop and wider Azure integrations.
• Manage mobile devices (Android via Samsung Knox, iOS via Apple Business Manager).
• Support secure BYOD environment delivery and ongoing operation.
• Produce documentation and deliver training to users and IT colleagues.
