Job summary

Kainos in Belfast is seeking a Modern Workplace Specialist to operate and enhance Microsoft 365 and endpoint services, ensuring secure, user-focused digital experiences.

You will manage Exchange Online, Teams, SharePoint, Intune, Entra ID and Windows Autopilot, delivering high-quality support and documentation across the organisation.

Qualifications

• Strong Microsoft 365 knowledge including Exchange Online, SharePoint, Teams and Entra ID.
• Intune device management experience including Windows 11 support.
• Understanding of Conditional Access, MFA, compliance and identity governance.
• PowerShell scripting for automation and operational improvements.
• Strong communication and troubleshooting skills.
• Ability to work in dynamic environments and prioritise effectively.

Responsibilities

Role Purpose

Desirable

• Experience with Microsoft Defender security capabilities.
• Familiarity with Purview DLP, labeling or governance models.
• Understanding of enterprise-grade Windows update and device lifecycle strategies.
• Exposure to automation using Graph API.
