Job summary

T2M Resourcing Ltd are recruiting a Microsoft 365 Modern Workplace Implementations Engineer for an award-winning MSP in the West Midlands. This is a project-focused role, not a helpdesk position, reporting into the CTO.

You will build, migrate, test and hand over designs after a design has been approved by Pre-Sales and the PMO. Expect a mix of greenfield and tenant-to-tenant migrations, with occasional after-hours windows.

Qualifications

• Hhands-on Microsoft 365 engineer with live customer deployments.
• Tenant-to-tenant migrations across Exchange, OneDrive, SharePoint and Teams.
• Strong Entra ID, Conditional Access and MFA knowledge.
• PowerShell proficiency for admin, migration and troubleshooting.
• Experience with Intune, Autopilot, Power Apps and Power Automate; Copilot readiness.
• Microsoft certifications MS-102, SC-300 or MD-102 are a plus.

Responsibilities

• Build, migrate, test and hand over designs to the Service Desk.
• Lead greenfield tenant deployments and tenant-to-tenant cutovers.
• Support customers with Copilot readiness projects and SharePoint visibility improvements.
• Deliver projects under the PMO handover flow and manage risk.

Microsoft 365 Modern Workplace Implementations Engineer

T2M are currently working with an award-winning managed service provider who, off the back of continued growth and new contract wins, are now looking to add a Microsoft 365 Implementations Engineer to their technical team, reporting directly into the CTO.

A long-established provider of managed IT across both public and private sectors with decades of experience and a reputation for reliability, the business helps clients work smarter and safer by supporting IT services, deploying cloud infrastructure, and managing security, comms and much more.

• Permanent, Hyrbid, West Midlands with travel to customer sites.

What will you be doing?

This Microsoft 365 Modern Workplace Implementations Engineer role is a project role, not a support desk one. Pre-Sales and the PMO hand over an approved design and you take it from there, building, migrating, testing, documenting and handing it over clean to the Service Desk. One week it could be a greenfield tenant, the next a tenant-to-tenant migration with a tight cutover window, and the week after a customer who wants Copilot but hasn’t looked at who can see what in SharePoint for 5 years.

What are we looking for?

To be successful as Microsoft 365 Modern Workplace Implementations Engineer, you will have the following skills and experiences:

You’ll be a hands-on Microsoft 365 engineer with experience implementing in live customer environments, ideally from an MSP or multi-customer background. You’ll be strong across Entra ID, Conditional Access and MFA, and have at least one meaningful M365 migration under your belt, ideally tenant-to-tenant across Exchange, OneDrive, SharePoint and Teams.

You’ll also have good working knowledge of the wider 365 suite like SharePoint, Teams, Purview and the Defender stack, and be comfortable using PowerShell to administer, migrate and troubleshoot. Any exposure to Intune and Autopilot, Power Apps and Power Automate, or Copilot readiness projects would be a big plus, as would Microsoft certs like MS-102, SC-300 or MD-102.

Just as important, you’ll be someone who plans properly, spots risk before it becomes a problem and is happy to challenge a design that doesn’t stack up. You’ll be confident in front of customers, technical or not, and comfortable with the occasional out-of-hours migration window.
