Job summary

83zero Ltd is seeking a Senior MIM Engineer to join its Identity and Access Management team on a UK-wide, on-site basis. You will provide hands-on L2/L3 support for a highly customised Microsoft Identity Manager environment, collaborating with security, infrastructure and operations to keep critical identity services stable and secure.

You will troubleshoot complex IAM incidents, perform root-cause analysis, document procedures and look for automation opportunities.

Qualifications

• Extensive hands-on experience with Microsoft Identity Manager in an enterprise environment.
• Strong L2/L3 IAM support experience within business-critical IAM environments.
• Proficient in PowerShell; able to review C#/.NET code used in MIM customisations.

We're looking for a Senior MIM Engineer to join an experienced Identity and Access Management team, providing L2/L3 support across a highly customised Microsoft Identity Manager (MIM) environment.

This is a hands‑on role for someone who enjoys getting into complex identity issues, troubleshooting technical problems and finding permanent solutions. You'll work closely with security, infrastructure and operational teams to keep critical identity services stable, secure and performing effectively.

• Provide L2/L3 support for a highly customised Microsoft Identity Manager (MIM) environment
• Support identity lifecycle management, provisioning and synchronisation services
• Troubleshoot and resolve complex IAM incidents
• Carry out root cause analysis and implement permanent fixes
• Support integrations across Active Directory, Microsoft Entra ID and other identity platforms

What we're looking for:

• Extensive hands‑on experience supporting Microsoft Identity Manager (MIM) in an enterprise environment
• Strong experience with highly customised MIM implementations
• Proven L2/L3 support experience within business‑critical IAM environments
• Strong understanding of Identity and Access Management, including Joiner, Mover and Leaver processes, Identity Lifecycle Management and Access Governance
• Strong Active Directory, Microsoft Entra ID and hybrid identity experience
• PowerShell scripting experience
• Ability to review and troubleshoot C#/.NET code used within MIM customisations
• Strong analytical and troubleshooting skills
