Job summary

FULTOO LIMITED in Leeds is seeking a Microsoft Fabric Lead/Architect for a hybrid contract role. You will design and deliver modern data platforms using Fabric, and actively prototype pipelines hands-on while guiding teams.

The role requires strong Fabric expertise, data architecture leadership, and the ability to translate business requirements into scalable data solutions with Power BI integration.

Qualifications

• Must have strong, hands-on experience with Microsoft Fabric and solid data architecture background.
• Proven experience designing and delivering Lakehouse, Data Warehouse and OneLake solutions.
• Expertise in data modelling, data security, governance and performance optimization.
• Experience building and integrating pipelines, with hands-on prototype delivery.

Responsibilities

• Lead design and architecture of Microsoft Fabric data solutions.
• Design and implement Lakehouse, Data Warehouse and OneLake architectures.
• Develop scalable data ingestion and transformation pipelines.
• Define data architecture, modelling and integration strategies.
• Lead the integration of Power BI with Microsoft Fabric.
• Establish security, governance and performance best practices.
• Collaborate with stakeholders to translate requirements into solutions.
• Provide technical leadership to development teams.
• Review existing data platforms and plan Fabric migration/modernisation strategies.
• Create and run prototype pipelines and be hands-on with implementation.
