Job summary

FULTOO LIMITED is seeking an experienced Data Engineer – Microsoft Fabric for a client project in Leeds. The role demands hands-on development with strong Fabric expertise to design, build and optimize data pipelines and lakehouse solutions.

The ideal candidate will work closely with Data Architects, BI Developers and business stakeholders, delivering prototype pipelines and production-grade data platforms in a hybrid Leeds setup.

Qualifications

• Strong hands-on experience with Microsoft Fabric (MUST).
• Experience in Fabric Data Engineering.
• Lakehouse and Data Warehouse design and optimization.
• Experience with OneLake.
• Experience with Data Factory and Data Pipelines.
• Strong SQL skills.
• Experience with Power BI / Semantic Models.
• Experience with Azure Data Services.

Responsibilities

• Design and develop data pipelines using Microsoft Fabric.
• Build and maintain Fabric Lakehouse and Data Warehouse solutions.
• Develop data ingestion and transformation processes.
• Work with OneLake, Data Factory and Data Pipelines.
• Create and run prototype pipelines to validate solutions.
• Be hands-on with implementation, development and troubleshooting.
• Develop efficient and scalable data models.
• Integrate data from multiple sources.
• Monitor and optimise pipeline performance.
• Collaborate with Data Architects, BI Developers and stakeholders.

We are looking for someone who is genuinely hands-on and has strong, proven experience with Microsoft Fabric.
