Job summary

Fincons Group seeks a Data Solution Specialist in London to design and implement end-to-end data solutions on Microsoft Fabric, including lakehouse, pipelines, and semantic models. You will work with Power BI and contribute to governance and data_product initiatives in a regulated environment.

The role requires 4-6 years in data engineering/analytics roles, strong communication, and a consultative mindset to align technical delivery with business needs.

Qualifications

• Around 4-6 years of experience in data engineering, analytics engineering, or data solution delivery roles.
• Solid hands-on experience building components within Microsoft Fabric (lakehouse, pipelines, semantic layer).
• Familiar with modern data concepts (Lakehouse, Data Mesh, Data Fabric).
• Knowledge of data modelling, data quality, and lifecycle management processes.
• Consultative mindset on data strategy, operating models, and governance in enterprise environments.
• Experience delivering data solutions within regulated industries (FSI) is a plus.
• Strong communication with technical and business stakeholders.
• Empathy and collaborative team attitude.

Responsibilities

• Contribute to the design and hands-on implementation of end-to-end data solutions on Microsoft Fabric (lakehouse, pipelines, semantic models, Power BI).
• Support adoption of Data Mesh and Data Product approaches across business domains.
• Collaborate with governance teams to apply metadata, lineage, and data quality via Microsoft Purview.
• Assist in defining the Data TOM, including workflows and domain responsibilities.
• Help configure DataOps and platform operations, focusing on deployment automation and monitoring.
• Identify opportunities to automate data activities using AI within Fabric ecosystem.
• Ensure solutions align with FSI regulatory data governance, auditability, and GDPR.
• Engage with business teams to translate requirements into scalable data products.
