Job summary

FULTOO LIMITED in Leeds is seeking a Microsoft Fabric Lead/Architect for a hybrid contract role. You will design and deliver modern data platforms using Fabric, and actively prototype pipelines hands-on while guiding teams.

The role requires strong Fabric expertise, data architecture leadership, and the ability to translate business requirements into scalable data solutions with Power BI integration.

Qualifications

• Must have strong, hands-on experience with Microsoft Fabric and solid data architecture background.
• Proven experience designing and delivering Lakehouse, Data Warehouse and OneLake solutions.
• Expertise in data modelling, data security, governance and performance optimization.
• Experience building and integrating pipelines, with hands-on prototype delivery.

Responsibilities

• Lead design and architecture of Microsoft Fabric data solutions.

FULTOO is looking for an experienced Microsoft Fabric Data Lead / Architect to lead the design and delivery of modern data platforms using Microsoft Fabric.

Strong, proven experience in Microsoft Fabric is a MUST.

We are looking for someone who is not only experienced in architecture but is also hands-on and able to create, run and demonstrate prototype solutions and pipelines.

What You Will Do

• Lead the design and architecture of Microsoft Fabric data solutions
• Design and implement Lakehouse, Data Warehouse and OneLake architectures
• Develop scalable data ingestion and transformation pipelines
• Define data architecture, modelling and integration strategies
• Lead the integration of Power BI with Microsoft Fabric
• Establish security, governance and performance best practices
• Work closely with business and technical stakeholders to translate requirements into solutions
• Provide technical leadership and guidance to development teams
• Review existing data platforms and recommend Fabric migration/modernisation strategies
• Create and run prototype pipelines and be hands-on with implementation and development
