Job summary

IT Professional Services Limited is seeking a Microsoft 365 and SharePoint Engineer to join our cloud and infrastructure team in the United Kingdom. The role focuses on design, migration, and ongoing administration of Microsoft 365 environments, with ownership of SharePoint Online, Teams and OneDrive.

Qualifications

• Minimum of 3 years of hands-on experience delivering or supporting Microsoft 365 and SharePoint solutions.
• Strong practical knowledge of SharePoint Online, Teams, OneDrive, Microsoft 365 groups and Entra ID.
• Experience of SharePoint migration projects, including content discovery, permissions mapping, metadata, version history, validation, cutover and remediation.
• Competence with PowerShell; experience using Microsoft Graph and migration tooling such as ShareGate, Quest or Microsoft-native tools is highly desirable.
• Microsoft certifications such as MS-102, MS-700, PL-900 or equivalent are highly desirable

Responsibilities

• Work closely with Technical Architects, Pre-Sales and Project Managers to understand customer requirements and deliver Microsoft 365 & SharePoint solutions on time and on budget.
• Design, configure and support SharePoint Online sites, information architecture, navigation, content types, metadata, permissions and Microsoft 365 group integration.
• Plan and deliver migrations from SharePoint on-premise, file shares and other document repositories into SharePoint Online and OneDrive.
• Administer and support Microsoft 365 services including SharePoint Online, Teams, OneDrive, Exchange Online and Entra ID.
• Use PowerShell, Microsoft Graph and appropriate tooling to automate repeatable tasks, bulk changes, reporting and remediation.
• Build and maintain Power Automate workflows and support the transition of legacy workflows to modern Microsoft 365 services.
• Implement governance controls covering provisioning, ownership, external sharing, retention and data protection.
• Produce high-quality technical designs, migration plans, test evidence and handover packs.
• Ensure solutions are operationally ready with monitoring, security controls and clear escalation paths.
• Provide fault diagnosis & resolution for escalated Microsoft 365 and SharePoint incidents and service requests.
