A UK technology platform is seeking an IT Systems Engineer for a 3-month contract in Leicestershire. Responsibilities

• Administer and support Microsoft 365, Entra ID (Azure AD), and core cloud services.
• Manage endpoint devices and user environments via Intune.
• Support and maintain core infrastructure and networking components.
• Automate operational tasks using PowerShell.
• Troubleshoot and resolve complex technical issues.
• Support security best practices and system hardening.
• Work with the tech team to deliver system improvements.

Skills

Strong Microsoft 365 administration

Experience with Entra ID / Azure AD

Endpoint management (Intune or similar)

PowerShell scripting or automation

Windows server / infrastructure administration

Networking fundamentals (DNS, DHCP, VPN, VLANs)

Experience supporting SaaS platforms and internal systems
