Job summary

Sanofi in Waterford, Ireland is seeking a Quality Analyst Microbiology to support QC activities and ensure compliance with approved specifications. The role involves microbiology testing, documentation review, and collaboration across QA, validation and manufacturing teams.

You will gain exposure to cGMP, pharmacopeias, and lab management systems, with opportunities to contribute to continuous improvement and cross-functional projects in a dynamic biopharma environment.

Qualifications

• Experience in a QC department in a Pharmaceutical or GMP facility.
• Experience in Microbiological techniques.
• Knowledge of quality management systems (e.g. Veeva/Qualipso/Trackwise).
• Be a motivated, ambitious and goal oriented individual.

Responsibilities

• Provide Microbiology support to QA, QP, Validation and Manufacturing departments as well as other areas on site.
• Documentation review and batch release review.
• Provide technical guidance and expertise to QC Microbiology Team and external departments.
• Execution of QC Microbiology testing (water sampling, water testing, environmental monitoring, compressed air/nitrogen and more).
• Compliance with cGMP and SOPs and pharmacopeias at all times.
• Actively contribute to continuous improvement initiatives in the lab.
• QC Microbiology representation at cross functional meetings.
