Zusammenfassung

Iron Mountain is seeking a dedicated Material Handling Equipment Training Manager to join our Warehouse / Operations team. In this role, you'll design and deliver MHE training, assess operators, and maintain compliant training records to uphold safety standards across the site.

You will collaborate with Shift Leaders and the Operations Manager to identify skills gaps, drive coaching, and ensure operators are licensed and competent on counterbalance trucks, reach trucks, PPTs and order pickers.

Qualifikationen

• Proven experience delivering MHE training in a fast-paced warehouse or logistics setting.
• Strong knowledge of UK health and safety legislation (HASAWA, PUWER, LOLER) and risk assessments.
• Current RTITB or ITSSAR Instructor/Assessor accreditation.
• Excellent communication and coaching skills for diverse teams.
• High attention to detail for compliance records.

Aufgaben

• Design and deliver comprehensive training across all MHE types (counterbalance, reach trucks, PPTs, order pickers).
• Assess and authorize operators through competency evaluations and licensing.
• Maintain audit-ready training matrices and schedule refresher training per RTITB/ITSSAR, PUWER, LOLER.
• Investigate MHE incidents with management and deliver targeted retraining.
• Collaborate with Shift Leaders and Operations Manager to identify skills gaps and streamline upskilling.
