Job summary

2 Sisters Food Group is seeking a permanent MHE Trainer to join the Health & Safety team in Willand, Devon. You will deliver high quality training for mechanical handling operators, plan and record training, and ensure compliance with PUWER, LOLER and HSE guidelines.

The role requires practical and classroom-based training delivery, strong coaching skills, and at least 6 months forklift experience. Competitive hourly rate and development opportunities available.

Qualifications

• Experience operating Mechanical Handling Equipment.
• Strong coaching and communication skills.
• Ability to deliver practical and classroom-based training.
• IT literate, with experience using Microsoft Office.
• Minimum 6 months forklift experience.

Responsibilities

• Deliver high quality training and assessment for mechanical handling operators.
• Ensure compliance with company procedures and legal requirements.
• Plan, deliver and record operator training and competency assessments.
• Maintain accurate training records and support managers to ensure only competent employees operate MHE.
• Provide coaching and identify training needs following incidents.
