2 Sisters Food Group in Willand, UK is seeking an MHE Trainer to deliver high-quality training for mechanical handling operators, ensuring compliance with PUWER, LOLER and HSE guidelines, and recording assessments.
You will coach operators, maintain training records, and support safety culture while opportunities for progression and on-site training including L2/L1 Health and Safety certifications.

Your Main Responsibilities as a MHE Trainer include:
Working closely with operational departments, Health & Safety and departmental managers, the MHE trainer will play a key role in compliance with PUWER, LOLER and HSE guidelines while promoting a positive safety culture.
Product quality is everyone’s responsibility, and the highest standards of quality must be maintained throughout all stages of the manufacturing process.
In your specific role this includes carrying out tasks in line with documented procedures and ensuring the products that we produce meet customer specifications.
You will consistently refer to the relevant customer specification sheets to ensure that the portions / products that are being packed are in accordance with the agreed weight and size parameters and that there are no visible quality issues with the product e.g. excessive bruising, poor cutting standards, bone fragments, or excess fat
You are responsible for identifying and reporting any product defects or deviations to specifications and removing those products from the line. This should also include a root cause analysis to help identify what caused the quality issue. You will also coach others to ensure they fully understand and adhere to the relevant customer specification sheets
